Skills are normalised on import. In typical Influence exports, the majority of unique skill values are duplicates or one-off variants (e.g. "Java", "java", "JAVA", "Java 8"). ATSpro merges these into a clean master skills list during import, so you start with normalised data rather than years of accumulated variants.
Will my Influence data be safe during migration?
Yes. The migration runs through a sandbox tenant first — you review the imported data and validate it before it is touched in production. Your original Influence environment is not modified. ATSpro is multi-tenant SaaS hosted on Railway with PostgreSQL on Neon, with tenant isolation enforced at the database query layer. AES-256 encryption protects stored credentials.
Can I keep using Influence during the migration?
Yes. The sandbox-first approach means the migration itself does not interrupt your current Influence usage. Once you have validated the sandbox import, a final delta import runs and you switch to ATSpro. Most agencies move in a single business day.
