JobAdder alternative for UK recruitment agencies

JobAdder is an established, well-liked platform with 25,000+ recruiters, 200+ job boards and a strong integration marketplace. Its distinguishing characteristic commercially is that you cannot find out what it costs without a three-step sales process — and that the tier you land on is decided by your headcount, not by what you need.

Last reviewed July 2026. Competitor pricing is compiled from public sources and user reports — see the notes at the foot of this page.

Your plan is chosen by your team size

This is unusual and worth understanding before you engage. JobAdder's published agency plans are banded by user count: Lite is 1–5 users with a hard maximum of five, Essential is 6–20, and Pro is 21+. A four-person agency that wants Pro automations cannot simply buy them.

Tier structure, user bands, feature allocation and the add-on list are taken directly from jobadder.com/pricing in July 2026. JobAdder publishes no prices at all — their page describes a three-step quote process instead. Any figure you see for JobAdder on a comparison site is somebody’s quote, not a list price.

Three things to establish before you sign

Confirm in writing whether AI is included

Adder Intelligence — Smart Summaries, Smart Sync, Smart Job Descriptions, Smart Floats — is listed on Essential and above, not on Lite. If you are a boutique agency of five or fewer, the plan you qualify for is the one without the AI. That is the opposite of how we price: ATSpro’s 170-tool assistant and AI agents are on the single £49 plan whether you are one recruiter or fifty.

Price the add-ons, not just the seats

JobAdder’s own page lists six paid add-ons on top of the base plan: dedicated IP address, API and sandbox, single sign-on, Broadbean, smart forms, and the Hiring Manager Portal. API and sandbox are noted as free for Pro customers only.

Each is individually reasonable. Together they are the difference between a seat price and a bill. Ask for the fully-loaded annual number including every add-on you intend to use, and get it in writing before the demo enthusiasm wears off.

UK compliance will be your own problem

JobAdder handles temp and contract management from Lite upward, which is more than many global platforms offer. What it does not do is Regulation 15 and 17 documentation or the Home Office Right to Work List A and B framework. JobAdder is an Australian-founded global platform; the UK is one market among many. For us it is the only one.

Where JobAdder is the better buy

We are not right for everyone. Here is when to pick JobAdder.

  • Job distribution is critical to how you fill. 200+ job boards with deep native posting is a genuine strength and more reach than we offer.
  • You need a large integration marketplace. 100+ certified partners across screening, onboarding, assessment and billing — if your existing stack has a JobAdder connector and nothing else, that matters more than anything on this page.
  • You operate in Australia or New Zealand. JobAdder’s home market, with the deepest SEEK integration in the category.
  • You are an in-house talent team rather than an agency. Their Recruiter Business plan is built for exactly that, and ATSpro is an agency product first.

ATSpro suits UK agencies that want a published price, no user-band tiers, no add-on menu, and UK compliance shipped as product rather than configured around.

Moving from JobAdder

We have a purpose-built JobAdder migration using your own API credentials — candidates, companies, contacts, jobs, placements and documents, at no cost. See our step-by-step guide at /migrate/from-jobadder. Most agencies are live within days.

ATSpro vs JobAdder — frequently asked

How much does JobAdder cost?
JobAdder quotes per agency and does not publish a full rate card; UK agencies typically report roughly £90–160 per user per month, scaling with user count and selected modules. JobAdder advertises flexible contract terms. ATSpro is £49 per user per month on a monthly rolling contract, with data migration included free.
How does ATSpro compare to JobAdder?
JobAdder is an Australian-built recruitment CRM at roughly A$99–170+ per user per month with AI as a basic add-on. ATSpro is UK-built at £49 per user per month with deeper AI (80+ assistant tools, 6 AI agents and 29 lifecycle automations), full UK compliance (Reg 15/17, RTW, GDPR), and native sourcing (Apollo, Hunter, X-Ray) included.
Does JobAdder support UK Reg 15/17 compliance?
JobAdder does not include UK Reg 15/17 documents or full Right to Work workflows out of the box — these are typically handled via add-ons or third-party integrations. ATSpro includes the full UK compliance stack (Reg 15, Reg 17, all Home Office RTW types, GDPR 5-state consent, DBS workflow, blind recruitment) at £49 per user.
Is ATSpro a good JobAdder alternative for UK temp and contract agencies?
Yes. ATSpro includes digital timesheets, contractor and client portals, automated invoice generation on timesheet approval, working pattern templates, and direct sync to Xero, QuickBooks, and FreeAgent. JobAdder timesheet management is typically an add-on module.
Can I migrate from JobAdder to ATSpro?
Yes — ATSpro provides free data migration from JobAdder, including a dedicated import processor for candidates, companies, contacts, jobs, placements, and historical journals. Migration is direct from the founder.
How we sourced these figures

Neither we nor most of our competitors publish every number, so treat comparative pricing as an informed estimate rather than a quote. ATSpro’s own price is published in full at /pricing — £49 per user per month, every feature included. Where a competitor publishes a list price we use it; where they do not, we cite ranges reported by review sites and practitioners and label them as estimates. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

  • JobAdder plan structure, user bands, feature allocation and add-on list: jobadder.com/pricing, captured 18 July 2026.
