Where does ATSpro find companies?
It tries the best source for the sector first. For regulated sectors that is the official UK register — the CQC for care, schools, trusts and colleges, the public-sector register for councils, the NHS, police and fire, food hygiene for hospitality, the Charity Commission, the SRA for law firms, Ofsted social care, vehicle operator licences and the FCA register. Otherwise it uses Hunter, Apollo and Companies House, with a LinkedIn search as the last resort. Each result shows which source it came from.
Do I need Apollo or Hunter?
No. The registers, Companies House and LinkedIn searches work without them. Connecting your own Apollo and Hunter accounts adds richer company data, people's email addresses and phone numbers, and email verification. ATSpro uses your accounts directly and does not charge for credits.
Which searches use credits?
Register, Companies House and LinkedIn searches use no Apollo or Hunter credits. Apollo and Hunter credits are used when you enrich companies or people, find contact details, verify emails, or search Apollo — always on your own accounts. When you import companies with Apollo enrichment ticked, ATSpro shows the number of credits before anything runs.
How does AI Sourcing work?
From a job, AI Sourcing searches LinkedIn and Apollo at the same time using the job's title, location and required skills, then scores each person against the role. You enrich the people you are interested in to get their contact details, and add them to the job's Sourced Pipeline.
What is the Sourced Pipeline?
A separate pipeline on each job for people you have found rather than people who have applied. It runs from Identified through Contacted and Interested to Converted, when the candidate moves into the job's main pipeline, with Not Interested and Rejected for the rest.
How does ATSpro know what a company is hiring for?
It searches the major job boards for adverts the company has posted recently, matched to the company itself rather than agencies advertising on its behalf. Each advert shows how old it is and links to the original, and any advert can become an opportunity in one click.
